I just wanted to say hello. My name is Tom Kyler and I received my Haven plans few weeks ago and am in the planning stages. I'm maintaining a web site that is a general log of my experience from the day I received the plans to the day I'll finish the project.

I'm digitizing and redrawing much of the plans, which acts somewhat as virtual practice and double-checking and will hopefully alert me to some problem areas others have encountered. Along the way, I expect to generate some drawings that might be helpful to future builders. I look forward to conversing with the members here and getting this underway.

Hi Tom,

Welcom to the club ! I'm quite a new member also because I just started my project last October.
I was pleased to find those drawings on your site. Greate job ! I work often with Autocad and I' m wandering if it's possible to convert as DWG of DXF file. This would be useful to update my project with all modifications.

Tom....

You left out the URL for your weblog, it's: http://dreamlandbldg.com/haven/havenlog.html

What a great resource this is going to be! I look forward to following it closely.

Thanks for the welcome Tom and Pierre...it should be no trouble at all to convert the drawings I have to DWG or DXF Pierre...we frequently work with AutoCAD. I have a minimum amount of information I want to get into the digital file...and after I organize it a bit, I can make it available.

Tom has updated his log. Tom, I can testify to the possibility of building a Haven in a two car garage.
