Ed writes "I am strip planking with cypress strips that I milled to 1-1/2" wide by 1/2" thick. I am using one 1" #8 FH wood screw at each frame and WEST System epoxy. I am considering applying a layer of fiberglass cloth over the hull also.
I intend to drysail the boat and was concerned that by using traditional carvel planking, I might have problems with the seams opening up when the boat dried out on the trailer.
I had to move the boat to a new shop, in this stage of construction, and now hope to get back to work an a steady basis. I will send some new progress photo's towards the end of the year.
