I'm using 100% exterior latex house paint for the hull. 1 coat
of heavy latex primer followed by 3 coats of "Lifetime Guarantee" house
paint. So far it looks great and I liked having so many colour choices.
I'm leaving a band of bright finished plywood at the sheer edge--the edges
are still masked in these photos waiting for the third coat. After the
outer sheer goes on I'll have a dark green hull, lighter band of wood,
& dark mahogany sheer.
