Fiberglassing

The seams have been taped, tapered,
feathered and resined.  Fiberglass cloth is hung on hull ready for wetting out.
The fiberglass epoxy covering kit from Glen-L has two shortages.  The cloth tape was about four feet short of enough length to tape the chine seams, not allowing for ANY overlap of stem or transom.

The hull fiberglass cloth is supplied as a single piece, 60 inches in width.  The single instruction supplied with the fiberglass kit is  " apply 60" cloth athwartship."

The cloth must be cut lengthwise into two 30" pieces. Unfortunately, this allows for very little overlap of the lower chine.  Therefore, the bottom piece will have to overlap the lower chine.
